INFORMATION FOR NARWC and Ropeless Consortium PRESENTERS
2024 Annual Meeting
Some important information specific to presenters:
TALKS
**We ask ALL presenters to include both verbally and on their title slide whether or not content from the presentation can be shared via social media outlets.**
Format:
All presentations (live and pre-recorded must be in 16:9 format (not 4:3)
Length:
Unless otherwise indicated in your abstract notification email, abstracts accepted as Full talks should be no longer than 10 minutes. Those accepted as Speed talks should be no longer than 5 minutes. These are HARD time limits. We will stop presentations at the designated time regardless of whether or not the presenter is finished.
Pre-recorded/viewed presenters (both in-person and remote):
This includes MOST presentations for both the Ropeless and NARWC Meetings
Your pre-recorded presentations must be uploaded no later than September 30th, 2024. These presentations will be available on the meeting website to be viewed in advance of the meeting. Please use the upload links below to upload your presentation. Use the naming format AgendaCode-LastName. The Agenda code is the four or six digit number of your presentation located on the agenda.
We also ask for pre-record presenters to submit a <1 minute summary video of their talk that highlights major findings and important discussion points. These videos will run just prior to the discussion for each session and will provide a "refresher" of talks that were viewed in advance. We ask for you to introduce yourself, give a brief summary of your talk, and highlight important discussion points. It may be helpful to include a summary slide in this clip to visually remind the audience of take home messaging. These short video clips should be uploaded no later than September 30th, 2024. Naming convention for your uploaded file should be AgendaCode-LastName-Summary.
Live presenters:
Your presentation as you will share it live (i.e. slide deck) should be uploaded no later than October 11th. We will load these onto the onsite computer and you will have control of the presentation as you present. We also ask that live presenters submit a recorded version of their talk as well so that it can be uploaded to the meeting site post meeting (by Friday, November 1st). This will be of value to those registered participants who may miss a live session.
Q&A Sessions
During the Q&A sessions during the live meeting, all presenters with talks in each session (in-person and remote) will be together either on stage or onscreen via zoom to receive and answer questions from participants and moderators.
