Calling students of all ages!

To help you learn more about North Atlantic right whales, we have developed some fun and educational RIGHT WHALE activities.
​These activities can be done separately or all together and in any order.


​These materials were developed by members of the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium’s Education Committee, which includes the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, New Bedford Whaling Museum and Whale and Dolphin Conservation. In this activity you will make a "blubber glove" which simulates the whale's layer of insulating fat, known as blubber. You will conduct an experiment to test the effectiveness of fat as an insulator.
