The 2016 Annual Meeting will take place at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. New Bedford earned its place in history as "the whaling city" during the 19th century when New Bedford whaling ships blanketed the world's oceans. From its rich history and unique architecture, the New Bedford area takes pride in its heritage. Although steeped in history and tradition, the area has much to offer in the modern world. The visitors guide features the many things to see and do in the City of New Bedford and the area towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, and Westport.
